Job Description

Job Captain - Your Role:

  • Work with Project Architects and Project Managers to create construction documents utilizing Revit.
  • Participate in meetings with contractors and consultants.
  • Review and coordinate drawing sets from consultants to ensure documents align.
  • Participate in CA work by attending site visits, responding to Submittals and RFI's, and create/provide supporting documentation.

Mid-Level Designer - Your Role:

  • Work with the Director of Design on presentation designs;
  • Prepare initial site plans for a wide variety of project types;
  • Engage with staff to generate design concepts;
  • Create renderings and videos of design options;
  • Participate in presenting concepts to stake-holders.

Junior Project Manager:

  • Meet with the design team to coordinate the efforts of staff in creating construction documents;
  • Assist in the creation of specifications;
  • Advise/direct staff in the permit processing;
  • Work directly on generating CD's with the team;
  • Lead CA efforts on your jobs;
  • Assist other team on their CA efforts:

What You Bring:

  • Professional Degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited school;
  • Minimum 1 year experience in an architectural firm is required for a Job Captain, 3 years minimum for a Mid-Level Designer and 5 years for a Jr. Project Manager - all post graduation
  • A basic knowledge of building codes is required for a Job Captain and Mid-Level Designer, it is expected that a Project Manager has considerable experience in codes/zoning and working with AHJ's.
  • An understanding of construction techniques is expected, all based upon the level of experience you bring with you;
  • Proficiency in Revit is required for all positions, it is expected that a Mid-Level Designer has experience in rendering software.
  • Experience in SketchUp and AutoCAD is preferred but not required;
  • Positive energy and a sense of humor.

A license is not required for any of these positions.
