Commitment Level: 40 hours per week, on-site, contract through September 2021

Overview:
We’re seeking a Project Manager who can help support our client’s business needs.

 

What you’ll do:
•Manage cross-functional site infrastructure projects in a matrix organization supporting the production network team.
•Plan, coordinate and drive day-to-day initiatives in the company's data centers.
•Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time completion
•Interface with engineering teams, business owners and program managers for project requirements and scope
•Identify operational pain points
•Review operational issues.
•Assist in performing risk management and change management.
•Assist in driving internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions
•Ensure there is sound communication.
•Provide day-to-day coordination.

 

Must Haves:
•Work experience in Project Management with a demonstrated track record of delivering business value using technology solutions in high-tech operations space
•Experience working directly with network engineers and/or in data center environments
•Proven project management, interpersonal, and communication skills, with high attention to detail
•Strong communication and coordination skills
•Must be proactive with proven ability to execute on multiple tasks simultaneously
•Ability to collaborate with different individuals across the organization and within other geographies, and roll-up the sleeves in order to accomplish all necessary tasks
•Strong organizational and time management skills
•Past experience as an engineer a plus
•Ability to closely walk the line between business and technology

 

Education:
Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science, systems engineering, business, or a related field.

 

Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. Work will be done from home until offices can safely re-open, at which time this role may be asked to come onsite. The expectation is to be onsite at Washington, DC location once it is deemed safe to do so
