Customer Service Representative/Recruitment Center Agent Job Description

The earliest shift will be from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, and the latest shift will be 11:30:am to 8:00 pm
Shifts will be assigned/reassigned to best meet the needs of the Recruitment Center for the client

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Respond to email, telephone inquiries, and document all calls.
• Assist applicants with accessing the online application.
• Contact referrals for possible employment on National Assessment of Educational Progress.
• Conduct employment history and professional reference checks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent listening skills
• Clear and understandable speaking voice
• Good organizational skills and detailed-oriented
• Experience with telephone, customer service, or call center operations
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and work well with a team or independently.
• Flexible and able to adapt quickly and easily to frequent changes.
• Ability to handle fluctuating, and often heavy, workload and work well under pressure.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work.
• Ability to work on computers and phones for the entire workday for the duration of the assignment.
• Ability to properly compose a professional letter/email.
• Ability to understand and carry out instructions.
• Takes initiative and asks for clarification when necessary.
• Available to work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, daytime or early evening hours

Preferred Qualification:

• Fluency in Spanish
