Job Description

Under the direction of the Promotions Account Operations Manager, the Account Manager is responsible for providing account support within the promotions team by leading and directing the strategic implementation of our client’s marketing and sales support activities. This position is also responsible for ensuring timely, accurate and on-budget execution of both customer and internal projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate with internal and external resources to build a good working relationship with the client. Ensure an understanding of the client’s needs and objectives while effectively managing resources to meet budget and deadlines.
  • Manage strategic planning and implementation of the day-to-day relationship with clients ensuring the fastest, most cost-effective strategy to meet our clients’ sales objective cross media tactics.
  • Manage ongoing account service and management, development of new opportunities and ongoing revenue streams, and solicitation of referrals. Coordinate client review meetings to review solutions and ensure customer value. Solicit and report on feedback to ensure TMG is providing the highest value.
  • Develop campaigns and manage resources to meet client goals and objectives while maintaining knowledge transfer and service standards while managing budget and deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a broad background in The Marek Group’s core competencies to ensure the ability to design customer solutions with the support of the entire Marek Group team. Adapt to and quickly learn new technologies and products.
  • Cultivate prospective and existing client relationships to develop ongoing sales opportunities.

Non-essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the leadership team.
  • Participate on continuous improvement teams and projects.

Education and Experience:

Requires a bachelor’s in related business, marketing or graphic arts degree or 3 years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience.


Must have prior promotional products experience.  Ability to work on-site at our Waukesha headquarters required.
