POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for an experienced and careful Forklift Operator to join our team in Paris, Kentucky. As a Forklift Operator, you will be operating a forklift while ensuring efficiency and safety.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Operates forklift or other hand truck.
- Unloads materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacks them to assigned area.
- Uses wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory.
- Adheres to quality and customer service standards set forth by the Company.
- Performs cycle counts as required.
- Picks, wraps, and stages orders to be shipped
- Inspects and performs maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Identifies safety hazards in the workplace.
- Consolidates partial pallets for incoming good.
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma.
- Valid certification to operate forklifts preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience as forklift operator or similar role.
- Attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of industrial equipment.
- Excellent coordination.
- Good time-management skills.
