Our Florida water resources practice is looking for a new team member to support ongoing water resources and resilience related projects across the state. This entry level position will provide opportunities for professional development and growth with increasing responsibility commensurate with experience.
Day to day responsibilities for the water resources/resilience position include:
Support delivery of planning and design projects associated with water resources management, flood risk mitigation and resilience related projects.
Support all stages of water utility, stormwater, coastal and resilience related projects, from inception through final delivery.
Support GIS spatial analysis and mapping for built and natural infrastructure systems.
Opportunities to engage with other project types and lines of business including transportation, buildings, parks, land development and urban planning, as needed.
Opportunities to engage on other tasks including public workshops and stakeholder engagement, costing and benefit cost analysis, permitting, grant writing, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and light project management activities.
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Strong communications skills
ArcGIS mapping and analysis proficiency preferred
Strong technical writing skills
