Position Overview & Responsibilities
Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) is the newest accounting standard dealing with loan losses that requires significantly more data intensive calculation and analysis of sensitive assumptions than the prior standard. The CECL Analyst & Consultant will participate in an entrepreneurial, team-based environment to successfully work with bank client accounts utilizing Invictus proprietary CECL modelling system to determine the appropriate analysis methodology(s), execute the analysis, and present to and work with clients to integrate analysis into the financial reporting and planning processes.
While the individual will begin contributing immediately, the first 3 to 6 months will concentrate heavily on training and learning. In a team environment, the individual will be immersed within the proprietary data and analyses that are unique to Invictus.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year institution.
· None or little work experience required. Some work experience including internship experience considered a plus. Finance and
accounting exposure considered a plus.
· Strong Excel skills with intimate knowledge of pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.
· Project management skills including the effective planning and execution of project phases & steps, strong task follow-up
discipline and being deadline driven.
· Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, and completeness of work product.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills including excellent listening skills.
· Interpersonal skills enabling the effective work and interchange with clients, the ability to work with and often manage others
with specific project steps, and the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and staff to forge a team-oriented results
driven environment.
Location & Travel
· The position will be a work-from-home position.
· The position will require limited day and overnight travel to client locations and Invictus meetings. (Invictus Group adheres to
Covid-19 guidelines)
Compensation:
· An employer-based full-time entry level position with compensation commensurate with the individuals education, skill set and experience.
