(Norfolk International Airport - ORF)

Make an impact in the aviation industry as a Material Handler Agent!


+ Ensures all QAS and customer safety standards are met and maintained.

+ Properly and safely loads and unloads mail. Including build up and break down of containers following guidelines.

+ Protects mail from elements, damage and vandalism.

+ Operates equipment safely

+ Identifies mail that does not meet USPS or QAS guidelines.

+ Organizes mail within the warehouse according to the base storage plan.

+ Obtains proper mail scanning for all destinations.

+ Cleans up work area during and at end of each shift.

+ Performs other duties assigned by QAS management.

+ Compliance with all applicable environmental laws and permits.


+ Valid US driver's license.

+ Must be able to pass all required background and clearance requirements.

+ Successful completion of required airport badging process and pre-employment drug screen is required.


+ Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; speak clearly and hear efficiently.

+ Employees must regularly lift and/or move up to, in excess of 25/55 pounds.

+ Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.


+ Exposure to weather conditions prevalent at the time.

+ Noise level in the work environment is excessive at times.
