Assistant and Senior Assistant Underwriters

Our client, in Dallas, TX, is searching for both an Assistant Underwriter and a Senior Assistant Underwriter.  This is firm that is progressive and growing, so the opportunity for someone looking to move up in  their career should love this role.
 
You will work with submissions to verify all information is ready and complete for underwriting and that the work is not being duplicated or requested by multiple producers. You will provide binders, policies, cancellations, renewals, endorsements as needed and be support to the lead underwriter on each policy.  Enter information on each to the system and review for accurate filings of the documents.

For the assistant level, you must have at least one year of working experience in the commercial insurance industry, either on the agency, carrier or wholesale property and casualty industry.   For the Senior Assistant, more experience and knowledge will be required.

This person will have strong attention to detail, great organizational skills, feel comfortable asking for information and communication that information back to the underwriters.  Customer service skills are required.   You must have working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.  Accurate typing/data entry is needed.
