YOUR LIFE AS AN HVAC SALES ENGINEER
In this inside sales position, you play an integral part in supporting our company's sales, profitability, and customer service objectives. With your excellent communication skills, you coordinate with other sales engineers, territory managers, and counter staff as well as report directly to the Commercial Sales Manager. By reviewing positive results and making necessary changes to enhance customer service, each department is able to get on the same page. Periodically, you attend internal and off-site training sessions offered by Habegger Corporation and its various suppliers. These trainings help keep you up to date with revisions to equipment offerings, supplier pricing policies, and supplier lead times.
Your computer proficiency and close attention to detail serve you well as you review bid documents, price equipment, prepare quotes, place orders, and check shipping statuses. Using a variety of tools like iSqFt, state, local and municipal planrooms and customer requests, you identify opportunities for the sales team. In addition to the behind-the-scenes work, you also directly serve customers. Whether communicating over the phone or in person, you are courteous, kind, and professional. No matter what type of work you're doing, you always follow company processes, policies, and procedures while maintaining a customer service-oriented perspective. You like the challenge that each workday offers, you enjoy putting your engineering experience to good use, and you love playing an important part in the company's success.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Experience in general engineering
- Knowledge of HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Basic computer skills
