Duties
- Manage the overall budget for the project including change orders and invoicing
- Spending time on the job site, as well as in the office running the project
- Will manage Safety and Quality on-site and fulfill the Project Manager role at the office
- Review all documents and drawings to ensure information is correct, complete, and in compliance with regulatory and safety standards as well as contractual specifications
- Inspects the site verse blueprints to ensure the G/C is performing under the contract specifications and within budget/time limitations of the contract
- Generates documents to include RFI, RFA, Construction Plan, Progress Report, etc. to coordinate with G/C and Client
- Manages G/C to include local engineering companies and their managerial and professional engineering personnel working on the project
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural/Civil Engineering program or related field, preferred
- 5+ years experience working in the Architectural and/or Commercial Construction field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Working knowledge of CAD software
- Project Management and Document Tracking software, preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
