Job Description

Our client, Adler Institute for Advance Imaging, a leading provider of PET/CT Imaging with an emphasis on Cardiac PET services, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in implementing effective marketing and sales strategies, building relationships with medical practices, facilities and community organizations while promoting our services to current and prospective clients. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting market research, developing and executing new business opportunities, and ensuring the successful execution of marketing plans. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development, as well as strong sales and marketing skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Development:

  • Participate in meetings with the leadership team to strategize marketing plans, initiatives and sales techniques.
  • Analyze market data and identify trends to provide insights for future marketing and sales strategies.
  • Study market information to understand the needs, preferences, and referral patterns of medical practices.

 

2. Relationship Management:

  • Reach out to current and prospective medical practices, facilities and community organizations to educate them about Adler Institute for Advance Imaging’s services.
  • Identify new markets and develop relationships with potential customers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing referring medical practices, facilities and community organizations and address their inquiries.
  • Collaborate with referring practices and facilities to develop tailored marketing approaches based on their specific needs.
  • Utilize traditional and innovative networking techniques.

 

3. Sales and Marketing Execution:

  • Conduct face-to-face and digital marketing activities to expand our reach and promote our services.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with Executive Healthcare plans to enhance market penetration.
  • Work closely with marketing consultants to implement effective marketing campaigns.
  • Track campaign progress and success, making necessary adjustments in consultation with the leadership team.

 

4. Communication and Presentation:

  • Effectively present information about our services and respond to questions from referring doctor's offices, facilities and community organizations.
  • Display professionalism and respect when addressing problems and handling competing demands from different offices.
  • Submit well-written business correspondence and reports, showcasing superior written communication skills.
  • Coordinate, attend and present at meetings.

 

5. Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze market data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to the leadership team.
  • Report on key performance metrics, evaluate the success of marketing and sales initiatives, and recommend improvements.
  • Ability to meet designated sales quotas.

 

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Minimum education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Business Administration). Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Work experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development/sales.
  • Strong networking and relationship building skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work within diverse communities and cultures.
  • Commitment to excellence and a high level of professionalism.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and show respect and compassion for the welfare of patients we serve.

Salary: $55,000 – $65,000

Benefits: Bonus Incentive, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, 401k, Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability, FSA and Tuition Reimbursement.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Some Weekend Availability Required

Ability to Commute/Relocate: Philadelphia and Surrounding Areas
