Currently seeking an Administrative assistant for an opportunity within a Human Resource Department in the Providence, RI area. The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years of office experience looking for a career position.
Responsibilities of the Human Resource Administrative Assistant
● Responsible for all administrative functions within the Human Resource Department
● Collect resumes for the recruiters.
● Schedule applicant interviews.
● Type up offer letters and follow up correspondence for recruiters.
● Meet and greet visitors/applicants.
● Answer department phones and relay messages.
● Maintain applicant database.
● Maintain Human Resource Information Systems database with employee demographic information.
Requirements of the Human Resource Administrative Assistant
● 1-3 years of experience working within an office environment
● Strong knowledge of MS Office
● 2-4 year college degree
● Strong communication skills with friendly disposition
● Some experience working on HRIS system is a plus
● Human resource experience preferred
● General administrative skills
