Job Summary
America's #1 Arch Support Company, The Good Feet Store, is searching for a results-oriented Marketing Analyst to help grow brick-and-mortar store traffic and sales across our 220+ markets and stores by identifying and conducting analyses and by making actionable recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness and efficiency. The Marketing Analyst will be responsible for gathering data, creating presentations based on analyses and findings, and advising Franchisor and Franchisee Leadership on marketing strategy and tactics. This role will sit in Finance, reporting to our Chief Financial Officer, and the role will have a dotted reporting line to our Chief Marketing Officer.

The Marketing Analyst will be responsible for gathering data, creating presentations based on analyses and findings, and advising Franchisor and Franchisee Leadership on marketing strategy and tactics. This role will sit in Finance, reporting to our Chief Financial Officer, and the role will have a dotted reporting line to our Chief Marketing Officer.
Essential Functions
- Provides actionable overall market, customer, and brand insights to address key strategic and business questions (e.g. advertising budget levels, media mix, role of digital advertising mediums, correlations of marketing choices with store traffic, website conversion and effectiveness)
- Monitors advertising budget levels, mix, and performance to determine marketing effectiveness
- Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities, ad hoc analytic requests, and development or automation of regular reports
- Collaborates with franchisees on the Franchisee Association's Committees (e.g. Marketing, Sales) to identify and deliver key marketing analyses and recommendations, including new or better ways to attract and convert customers to in-store traffic
- Analyzes external and internal customer data using database queries (SQL, Access), spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe, Omniture), statistical analysis tools, and campaign management software tools
- Analyzes A/B and multivariate tests, communicates results, and provides recommendations
- Creates and delivers PowerPoint presentations to provide market and consumer insights to other marketing and sales departments
Job Specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- 6+ years' experience, and experience in franchising preferred
- Experience in advanced analytic and statistical techniques related multivariate and A/B testing, digital revenue attribution, customer segmentation, and marketing effectiveness (e.g. return on advertising, cost per acquisition, customer lifetime value)
- Experience building and automating management-level reporting
- Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis with excellent analytical skills and a high degree of business acumen
- Experience preferred with data aggregation, query, and analysis tools, such as SQL, SAS, R, Tableau, Google Analytics, Heap, and Upper Quadrant
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exhibits confidence, ease, and flexibility working in a fast-paced, ever-changing, deadline-driven environment
- Possesses the foresight to create analyses that are scalable and flexible, plus critically think through problems and provide innovative, actionable solutions
- Some travel to The Good Feet Store locations expected, given the importance of understanding our retail model, environment, salespeople, and sales process
