Job Description

Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities:

  • Answers phone calls and responds to voicemails, schedules estimates, consultations, handyman services, and any other appointments staff may need
  • Supports occasional visitors
  • Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
  • Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
  • Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, mail, e-mail, and in person contact.
  • Monitors social media accounts, and creates and posts content as appropriate
  • Schedule services for job sites
  • Confirm appointments with customers and follow up on invoices
  • Maintain vehicle registrations and records
  • Ensures operation of office equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, and maintaining equipment inventories.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.

Schedule and Benefits

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday, Approximately 8:00am to 4:30pm
  • Pay starting at $16 to $18 per hour

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required, Associate degree preferred
  • 1+ year of administrative assistant experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
