Buyer (Asian-Pacific and Indian Market Experience)
Location: Lodi, New Jersey
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 + Annual Bonus

Strategic Purpose of the Position:
The Buyer is responsible for effectively leading Global Sourcing, Procurement and Vendor Management through collaboration with Finance, Sales, Marketing, New Product Development, Customer Service, Quality, Engineering and Operation.
Key Responsibilities for Buyer (Asian-Pacific and Indian Market Experience):
- Develop and improve Global Sourcing strategy, and implement best practices and procedures for the responsible product categories spend
- On going explore emerging markets to improve product sourcing strategy
- Conduct global market competitiveness tests to ensure our purchase price is in alignment with market
- Perform Should cost Analysis for the responsible product categories spend
- Responsible of negotiating long range purchase contract to optimal the purchase price
- On going monitoring global commodity price to assure purchase price is in line with market
- Participate in New Product Development and provide Sourcing and Procurement guidance to the functional team
- On going managing responsible supply base for continuous improvement and risk mitigation
Qualifications for Buyer (Asian-Pacific and Indian Market Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree with Supply Chain Management, Finance, or other business-related fields. Minimum 2+ years’ experience
- Experience in global sourcing with a global Contract Manufacturing supplier base
- Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to effectively work with diverse suppliers, agents, and internal cross functional teams
- Knowledge of and experience with Stock IQ and NetSuite is plus
- Superb financial analytical capabilities
- Knowledge of and experience working with Asia-Pacific and Indian market supply base is must
- Experience and knowledge of kitchenware sourcing and purchase is plus
- Experience and knowledge of diverse manufacturing process and material is preferred
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
