Do you think that you are employed not to just fix computers, servers or networks, but instead to help people?
Do you have real, interpersonal conversations with friends, co-workers, even people in line at the store (that aren't always about tech stuff)?
If you said yes to these questions, I may want to talk to you.
Our company (The FantasTechs) is a "People Support" company, that happens to be technology experts. We support the missions and goals of schools throughout Missouri... we just happen to do so by working with computers, servers, networks, etc. Our Mission is to make our client's lives easier, by providing technology support, management and expertise. Everything we do is tied back to this overarching mission.... Making people's lives easier, and bridging the gap between teachers and techies.
Here is the situation: We are always looking for talented folks in the West Plains, MO area to support or client there. We are looking to expand what we are doing for the school district by placing another outstanding team member to support the amazing staff and students.
*We will have a vacancy for a full-time Technology Support Specialist, working directly with one of our school clients. You will be a full-time, W2 employee with The FantasTechs, but be dedicated to our client location on a full-time basis. This role will need to wear many hats in a given day, and work in concert with five other team members (managing three).
* Experience with following is very important:
- Providing excellent customer service
- Desktop support (Win 10)
- Experience with Google Crhomebooks and G-Suite
- Supporting Windows Servers
- Some Network administration (LAN, WAN, VLANs, Managed Wireless etc)
- Data backup
* Experience in a school district setting is a big plus!
*You will get to experience all sorts of technical and business challenges -- help us build this thing!
*Our company is growing rapidly, which is exciting and challenging... we aren't perfect, by any means, but I'm proud of our competitive pay and benefits.
* I'm also extremely proud of our 23 employees and very passionate about the business and our clients.
*Of course, you need to be drug free, need to have reliable transportation, and be able to pass all of the client's background checks.
Can you help us change the way people think about technology pros?
If you think this is for you, send me a note and tell me a little about why you go to work every day. If your experiences and note catch my attention, we can line up some time to chat.
Thanks for looking. I hope you are the one I am looking for.
