BPO Sales and Business Development Director, United States of America

We’re looking for a strategic but hands-on Director of Sales and Business Development with previous BPO experience to join our team of high-performing professionals to lead our sales and marketing efforts and help sustain the continued success in Canada and the United States.

The Director of Sales and Business Development reports to the Chief Operating Officer and works closely with the Chief Executive Officer and our Corporate Legal Counsel to analyze, strategize, and grow our financial position.

We are looking for a highly motivated sales professional that can engage in sales conversations, build, and manage their own pipeline and reach out to prospective clients. To be successful you will need to be able present and promote our services and be able to develop cost benefit and needs analysis. Our ideal candidate will bring potential client on day one and needs to be savvy in using various approaches including cold calling, digital channels and stay up to date on current trends. This role is competitive where your success is managed by your performance, so the ideal candidate is comfortable with goal setting and hitting targets.

 

Objectives of this Role

  • Manage all sales and business development operations, including market competitiveness analysis, negotiation, and client onboarding
  • Maintain key client relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base
  • Drive the development of domestic and international sales strategies
  • Define new or emerging market requirements and operational costs
  • Identify and self-generate prospects; build and manage your own pipeline
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and email prospecting as well as leveraging digital channels such as LinkedIn to open dialogue with potential customers
  • Present, promote and sell services using solid arguments to prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of potential clients to meet their needs
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments Conduct analysis on market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new services.
  • Oversee marketing communications including branding, public relations, and advertising
  • Continuously improve through feedback.

 

The right person will have:

  • Prior experience in a lead generation and a successful proven track record in BPO sales
  • Extensive experience selling face to face with new business prospects
  • Proven experience in writing successful RFPs
  • A hunger to drive and deliver on new business sales targets
  • Experience working within a fully autonomous field-based role
  • A mature approach to consultative selling
  • Strong written and verbal communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • A positive attitude, with an unyielding passion for success
  • Vast social and business networks
  • Excellent attention to detail and active listening skills
  • Experience in office 365
  • Degree in marketing, promotion, advertising sales, or business administration
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Working experience in Salesforce
  • Ability to create sales decks
