About the Role
The Assistant Manager of Retailer.com helps manage the Brand presence and overall ecommerce business for Smashbox’s North America & International Online Retail Partner websites (i.e. retail.com).

The Assistant Manager needs to have an understanding of how to drive ecommerce sales through marketing programs specifically with retail partners. An analytical and strategic thinker is required to balance program planning and execution with post program reporting. It is imperative that this person have very strong collaborative relationship competencies as working closely with cross-functional teams is critical to execute programs across channels (i.e. Omni-channel).


•Support and assist with relationship development with online retailers (i.e.: Macys.com, Mordstrom.com, Sephora.com, Ulta.com, etc.)
•Drive retailer.com business to achieve sales and Brand goals (i.e. sales plan, rank, penetration etc.
•Partner with North America counterparts to ensure synergies between online and offline and drive cohesive omnichannel programming, including adaptation of in-store programming for online
•Work with Creative and Digital Marketing to plan retailer specific asset requests for product launches, GWPs, promotions, category features, etc. Provides all assets to retail.coms
•Support international online retailer partners with assets, and content delivery.
•Support in the execution of all promotional activities and merchandising strategy (launches and repromotes), and gather metrics and data points from retailers to ensure success or make optimizations
•Maintain retailer side by side and product launch calendar for each retailer website
•Support implementation and QA of promotion plans for retail partners, along with analysis and measurement of online marketing/promotion success
•Manage, maintain, and update all elements of the New Product Worksheet. Responsible for distribution of NPW to all retailer.com partners


Qualifications
•Position requires 4+ years of experience in the beauty/retailer, online marketing or ecommerce area
•College degree required
•Must be extremely organized, detail oriented, and possess the drive to succeed within a very competitive landscape
•Needs to be a creative and analytical thinker and problem solver
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Working knowledge of web technologies
•An ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and influence across groups
•Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment skills
•Highly proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
•Aptitude for working with Internet tools (i.e. web-based reports, databases and various multimedia technologies)
•Experience in online marketing a plus
•Understanding of website metrics, data analysis, and reporting tools
