Paint Booth Manufacturing in the Englewood area since 1988 In In need of a Production Engineer

DIRECT HIRE

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain production work orders for production optimization.
• Own and control inventory levels of manufactured parts, utilizing a database or ERP system.
• Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and/or documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation.
• Develop and complete status reports and data analysis to review and evaluate production progress, work in process, and raw material inventory and finished goods demand.
• Interact with shop floor personnel daily to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies or to provide additional information as requested from Manufacturing.
• Know and understand how all the components are manufactured and how they interact to support the assembly of a booth.
• Develop and achieve departmental/company goals and controls. Make suggestions for improvement in areas of cost reduction, processes, quality, and productivity.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 2D/3D CAD and CAM software experience.
• AutoCAD
• Inventory
• sheet metal and the processes (break presses, lasers, roll formers, welding)
• Willingness to learn new manufacturing methodologies and practically apply them.
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time well with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to get to root cause quickly.
• Capable of functioning well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
