We're looking for someone like you to join our team as our Warehouse Supervisor.

Our warehousing operation receives, stores, and ships products to our customers from more than one location. Our customers include individual automotive enthusiasts, small to large businesses and business partner distributors, and our locations include facilities both owned/leased and operated by the company and fulfillment centers operated by business partners.

The Warehouse Supervisor will lead the operations and teams at our main and one neighboring warehouse location. These teams receive, store, pick/pack, replenish and ship customer orders. The teams consist of receivers, material handlers, pick/packers, shippers, and assemblers.

How the Warehouse Supervisor spends their time:
  • Works with Warehouse Manager to implement and achieve annual, quarterly, and monthly goals for warehouse operations.
  • Supervises warehouse team including recruiting, training, setting expectations, coaching, counseling, disciplining, performance assessment and terminating
  • Works with Warehouse Manager to remain within established labor and expense budgets.
  • Ensures effective use of labor when scheduling and develops individuals' skills and abilities to allow for a more versatile work team
  • Works with key team members to promote a productive and safe work environment, holding self and others accountable to achieve standards and work safely and takes action to correct poor results/behavior/practice
  • Accesses warehouse digital systems to anticipate labor needs, evaluate performance
  • Responsible for material handling/forklift program - training, adherence to established practice, equipment inspections
  • Protects company assets including safeguarding employees from unsafe practices/policies, maintaining both accurate physical and system inventory, smart spending, security practices, following established company business and employment practices, as well as making recommendations to improve

Candidates possessing the following experience will be more successful in this role:
  • Warehousing - has led a Warehouse team or teams and has experience in one or more area of warehouse operations - receiving, pick-pack, shipping
  • Supervising People - has supervised employees from recruiting to separation, including recruiting, training, setting expectations, scheduling, coaching and counseling, disciplining, performance assessment and terminating
  • Inventory - has been responsible for maintaining both an accurate physical and system inventory and has established guidelines/practices to promote accuracy and verify inventory levels
  • Systems - has learned warehouse management systems, knows how to find, and extract data to assess both physical and system inventory accuracy and operations performance
  • Safety Promotion - has recommended safety practices and held self and others accountable for safe working practices
