Dietitian - Washington, DC

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: For Dietitian

1. Provides individual nutritional counseling for The Dorm clients, as applicable.
2. Facilitates didactic and skill-based groups (i.e. psycho-education, meal planning. grocery shopping, and experiential food activities) on-site and off-site in the community, as clinically indicated.
3. Co-facilitates process groups about food, eating, and body image.
4. Conducts Nutritional Assessments of all newly admitted clients.
5. Participates in weekly supervision with Supervising Dietitian, four times a week group supervision, and co-facilitator supervision as indicated by direct supervisor.
6. Manages and oversees ordering and stocking of food for the site.
7. Serves as liaison with Dorm catering company / personal chef.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: For Dietitian

• Registered Dietitian license required.
• The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in a clinical / behavioral health setting with adolescents or young adults.
• Eating Disorder Experience
