Job Description

Job Purpose
The Customer Support Representative's primary focus is managing the success of the relationship with our customers. To achieve their goals and objectives of the customer and Approved team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Resolve requests via phone or email in a timely professional manner and proper system record notes
  • Reinforces the inside-out approach to our business
  • Works to gain feedback to promote information flow back into the business
  • Work with the internal team to research and resolve any challenges we come across to find the appropriate solution
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Assist with set up of web portal and assist customers with the navigation when needed
  • Complete or set up reports for out top customers
  • Create bookings for incoming orders
  • Create booking for any pickup request received via e-mail or via phone
  • Claims – assist with research with claims and send to management for approval
  • Update in-house system detail information as needed
  • Assist in research for any unknown freight received
  • Work with customers with freight received OS&D
  • Monthly feedback with Key Accounts
  • Able to manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails to customers and potential clients
  • Manage customer records by updating CRM account information
  • Support on-boarding of new clients (Implementation team leadership)
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate credibly and effectively at all levels; to work collaboratively with all departments to ensure the customer needs are met
  • Take ownership of customer’s issues and follow problems through to resolution
  • Must have excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Build and maintain strong, long lasting customer relationships

Qualifications

  • Ability to prioritize team’s work duties along with meeting strict deadlines
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Have an extreme sense of urgency when dealing with upper management
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve results
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • In-depth knowledge of customer service principles and practice
