Job Description

Location: Washington, DC

Normal day to day required On-Site, with flexibility for telecommuting 2 days a week

Duration: 12-month contract, with possible extension

W-2 or 1099

No C2C, visa transfers, or sponsorship

The DNA Group is seeking a Program Manager (PM) with 16+ years of experience.  Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.

The PM will manage the implementation of various projects. The candidate will be required to develop, update, and maintain a detailed project plan throughout the performance. The purpose of the project plan shall be to track task progress and deliverables and include other management-level information as requested by the agency. The project plan shall be the artifact to monitor the status of all tasks and deliverables, estimated completion dates, and actual completion dates. Identify, document, and manage project action items associated with the implementation.

·      Experience aligning IT strategy and planning with the agency's goals.

·      Able to work independently or in a team environment.

·      Experience in documenting business processes, requirements, and test scripts.

·      Overall Project Management experience.

·      Communication skills, both written and spoken, business level English mandatory.

·      Collaborating with the project management team on various client requests, cost management, and contract administration tasks.

·      Tracking and coordinating the status of deliverables and other work products.

·      Collaborating on the creation and implementation of procedures for maintaining project records, standard operating procedures, templates, and other project artifacts.

·      Writing progress reports, technical reports, and memos, in whole or in part.

·      Synthesizing meeting discussions and documenting decisions made.

·      Collaborating on grant and contract proposals.

·      Document and communicate project goals and objectives.

·      Work with process and system owners to document inefficiencies, gaps, and desired outcomes for business processes. When appropriate, identify ways to improve and streamline business processes and drive process improvements aligned with customer needs.

·      Facilitate project status meetings and working sessions with customers and Subject Matter Experts.

·      Ensure all project documents, including communications, training materials, and process documentation, are to date.

·      Delivers written documents and provides oral presentations as appropriate.

·      Monitor the status of all task deliverables and meet with all designees on a specified basis to resolve problems, communicate status, and present and discuss issues and approaches in determining them. The contractor shall identify, in writing, any risks of the project along with potential mitigation strategies.

·      Ensure all training documentation are up to date as required by the Agency

·      Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures are up to date as required by the Agency

·      Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio, and similar project management tools.

Minimum Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience

·      Strong organizational and planning skills

·      Attention to detail and ability to present work accurately and professionally

·      Strong analytical, interpersonal, written/verbal

·      Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment

·      The successful candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to take the initiative while also working as part of a team.

·      Strong written and verbal communication skills and good interpersonal skills are essential.
