Looking for a Communications Strategy Director who will be responsible for delivering key insights and developing integrated marketing plan thinking. This role will start Remote with the target of ending up in our New York or Miami offices later this year. We will also consider remote talent based in the US with the ability to work East Coast hours.
Qualified candidates will be able to effectively translate marketing objectives into a strong strategic POVs and drive multiple projects. This role will define strategic organizing principles at the campaign level, and partner with media planning through execution.
An idea amplified and energized via cultural trends and moments, content partnerships, emerging technology, media partnership and channels — this is the goal. Our ideal candidate is someone who thinks about marketing platforms, not media plans.
Talent right for this position should demonstrate a strong desire for digging into how a brand should behave (versus message), and how they can bring creative ideas to life in new ways. The role demands curiosity, resourcefulness and the ability to think on their feet, and develop strong written POVs for a fast turn, high demand client. Being able to turn insights and POVs into simple, visual constructs is essential.
This person will be responsible for advising as well as developing strategies to help launch broad and varied marketing initiatives, both for general market and Hispanic audiences. This candidate will be a key partner with other team leaders: strategy, account, innovation and creatives.
Not simply a consultant, take responsibility for hands-on development of briefs and presentations, and take an active role in the implementation and management of the idea.
Identify disruptive ideas proactively to take advantage of new technologies, product launches, partnership activations, current events in real-time, and in response to client challenges.
Lead team in understanding how media, partnerships, and technology platforms can be used creatively to make impact.
Provide thought leadership in consumer behavior, creative media engagements, emerging media, accountability and measurement, etc.
Minimum 5-7 years comms planning experience with excellent written, verbal, visualization, and presentation skills
Working knowledge and understanding of all channel disciplines, including Media, Promotional, PR, Social, Experiential, Multicultural, etc
Experience working on large brands
Experience in telecom or other tech industries, or multi-cultural (targeting unique segment behaviors) is a bonus.
Proficient with media planning tools (MRI, Social Listening etc.)
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills
