The Center for Professional Advancement is a premiere, accredited, global training-provider for professionals in the life sciences and allied industries. We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Professional to ensure our continued success. Our goal is to expand our excellent brand through proactive engagement with our world-wide corporate client base—promoting our extensive library of training courses. The successful candidate will have solid prior experience selling training programs/services in a B2B setting or selling products / services to the life science or medical industries. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and will own our sales program.
Reporting directly to the President and working closely with the marketing and customer success departments, this is a highly visible and important position. The Inside Sales Manager – Corporate Training Programs will proactively reach out to corporate clients and prospects to offer our new and evergreen technical training courses—customized for their operations. They will also manage the inbound sales process to assure that inquiries from clients and prospects—seeking specific training or responding to one of our many lead generations campaigns—are answered. The Inside Sales Manager – Corporate Training Programs will interface with corporate scientists and technical leaders from around the world to offer superior training products for their teams that will expand their skills and enhance their knowledge!

Responsibilities:
- Drive a consistently high level of effective outbound and inbound sales activity
- Actively solicit new business from current customers
- Research viable prospects within target markets
- Pursue leads sourced from:
- Outbound Marketing Campaigns
- Website
- Referrals
- Become knowledgeable about industry-specific requirements to help clients find solutions
- Maintain knowledge of training products and services to understand customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities
- Provide information to clients in support of sales
- Communication with clients regularly to guarantee customer satisfaction
- Meet Monthly Sales Goals
- Increase sales over prior year
- Provide Monthly Sales Reports
Requirements:
- Minimum Education - Associates Degree
- 5 years’ experience in inside/outside sales role
- 1-3 years' experience in a senior sales or managerial level focused on selling to senior level decision makers
- Highly sought - previous experience selling B2B training products/programs or services
- Highly considered - prior experience selling products / services to the life science or medical industries
- Prio experience selling products / services to the life science or medical industries
