Job Description

Purpose: The Account Manager position will manage a portfolio of accounts and are responsible for building strong client relationships, developing account management strategies, coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet clients' needs, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintain, develop, and create strong client and supplier relationships both domestically and internationally.
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and cost control of each project.
  • Work directly with our sales team on account management and re-order oversight for a current book of business.
  • Daily telephone and email correspondence with customers, suppliers, and office team members.
  • Full oversight management of product sales cycle including purchase order, order entry, product delivery, and payment collection.
  • Facilitate product and service presentations to both small and large groups.
  • Prepare weekly client reports.
  • Address and identify customer needs.
  • Light accounting knowledge (preferred).
  • Work directly with sales team to establish and grow a book of business.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of account management experience (preferably in the cannabis industry).
  • Proven ability to organize and effectively manage multiple clients with multiple revenue streams while continually developing and managing new clients.
  • A demonstrated ability to proactively provide creative ideas and solutions.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills. Must be detail-oriented.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite. The ideal candidate will have an intermediate skill level in SharePoint and Excel.
  • Ethical, goal-oriented, and passionate about your work.
  • Professional, outgoing, and articulate.
  • Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers in international locations preferred.

  • This position requires frequent sitting, standing, reaching, walking, and operating a computer workstation.
  • Must have finger dexterity, ability to use keyboard/ten-key
  • This position may rarely require kneeling, bending, squatting.
  • Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Reach, stoop and lift office files, records, or reports typically weighing 20 pounds or less.
