Systems Administrator

The System Administrator's role will make significant contributions to our cloud architecture and our technical strategy surrounding BRPs ‘cloud-first’ approach to solutions. The successful candidate will play an integral role in our overall merger and acquisition strategy and will take a hands-on approach to its execution.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, develop, and execute plans to migrate newly acquired organizations on to our technology platform.
- Take a proactive approach to reviewing and optimize our current AWS environment.
- Implement automated failovers, redundant/HA systems and DR/BC measures to ensure that we achieve a 99.9% uptime.
- Design/modify our AWS environment so that its scalable and high performing.
- Work with IT and business leaders to explain the benefits of design and architecture transformations.
- Mentor and support our help desk team on tickets that are above their technical expertise.
