Sr Pharmacy Care Technician

The CSI Companies is currently seeking a Senior Pharmacy Care Technician for a long-term contract position with one of our clients, one of the largest physician-led healthcare delivery networks in the United States, a Fortune 100 healthcare provider.

Status: Consultant/Contract: Starting off as a consultant/contractor there is always potential for long term / conversion for the right employee upon business needs. Almost all the positions within this client start off as a contractor due to being a Fortune 100 company.

Location: In Office (Phoenix, AZ) OR Telecommute (Remote - Must be local)

Effective Date / Tentative Start Date: Interviewing Immediately!

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm

Pay: 21-23.50+

Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Conduct high volume outbound calls to patients, providers and pharmacies with regards to medication adherence and other pharmacy initiatives.

• Assist patients in refilling their medications, reach out to the prescriber’s office if a member requires additional refills on their maintenance medications.

• Utilize prescription claims data as well as patient interview to engage patients in taking and filling their medication.

• Clarify information as needed with patient’s physician office and/or pharmacy.

• Coordinate with the Clinical Pharmacist to ensure that any discrepancies between medications are reviewed, evaluated and clarified and patient questions are addressed

• Facilitate documentation of patient outreach in required systems.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Current and unrestricted pharmacy technician licensure in State of Arizona

• 5+ years of experience working as a pharmacy technician

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)

• You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location.
