Job Description
Salary: $21 per hour +tips

Opening summer 2022! Start date for training June 30th! Come join the team behind the Best Burger in Bonner County! We are seeking fun, intelligent, outgoing, and high energy individuals to join our unique team as an Assistant Manager. This is an opportunity only for those with previous work experience in the restaurant industry in a management role. 

The ideal candidate for this position is ready to step into a leadership role and is attentive to detail, comfortable with a fast pace, diligent about food safety, and committed to maintaining a positive and productive work environment for the team members on the shift.


  • 2 – 3 years of Restaurant Management experience in a high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service and ability to train others to deliver best experience
  • Pride in producing high-quality product.
  • Ability to work shifts, over weekends, and on holidays, as required.
  • Food handler’s certification, strongly preferred
  • Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of The Burger Dock’s operations (both front of house and back of house duties)
  • Must exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence at every level
  • Understanding of financial aspects of business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct full team meetings to develop camaraderie, celebrate, and coach the team
  • Mentoring employees in training and upward movement possibilities continuously
  • Support General Manager in employee evaluation and accountability with regular one-on-ones and performance evaluations
  • Support General Manager in interviews and monitoring staffing needs


  • Comfortable with all aspects of the operation and assist team leads during peak times
  • Manage food safety and overall restaurant compliance with standards (e.g., monitor food safety logs, inventory rotation, maintenance standards upheld and logged, evaluate waste logs weekly and adjust pars accordingly)


  • Support General Manager in administrative duties (e.g., inventory, scheduling, ordering, payroll, and cash handling)
  • Partner with General Manager to understand and analyze key P&L drivers and report to leadership
  • Partner with General Manager on development of long-term sales growth plans
  • Partner with General Manager to analyze trends and forecasting for proper staffing and ordering
