Security Specialist - Grade 3 (TS Cleared)

The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Security Specialist - Grade 3 with an active Top Secret Clearance.

The Security Specialist responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to the following:

Providing superior customer service, to include the tasks below:

• Monitoring Access Control, Intrusion Detection and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Systems
• Dispatching Guard Force to Incidents and Alarm Activations
• Review and Prepare Documentation, daily blotter, incident report documentation
• Conducts Access Control Duties Into the ROC
• Receives incoming and redirects telephone calls
• Maintains building Standard Form-700, Security Container
• Maintains Building Emergency Point of Contact lists
• Monitors Facility Systems and Reports Issues to Facility Points of Contact
• Operates the Stationary and Mobile Radio System
• Follows Procedures in Accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
• FBI Central Command Post for All FBI Security Related Actions Taken During Emergency and Non-Emergency Situations on Redstone Arsenal
• Makes Appropriate Notifications during Day-To-Day Operations, Alarm Activations and Emergency Situations
• Conducts perimeter security checks and Crisis Alert responses for Building 4910 and other buildings checks as required
• Operate active vehicle barrier systems, as appropriate.

Required Experience & Skills

• Three (3) – five (5) years of experience working in a security function directly related to the discipline required
• Technical training or expertise may be required for certain disciplines

Preferred Education

• Bachelor’s degree in any field of study is preferred
