Title: Janitorial Account Manager

Hours: The ideal candidates will have open availability from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm in addition to morning/evening hours and special/unexpected events when needed.

Location: Farmville, VA

Lifting Restrictions: Must be able to lift 35 lbs. repetitively.

Responsibilities: The Account Manager will be directly responsible for customer satisfaction, account retention and strong employee relations. Specific responsibilities include work scheduling of all account personnel, establishing work standards, conducting site evaluations/audits, overall inventory/equipment usage, budget control, troubleshooting/ problem solving, orientation/training of supervisory and support personnel, safety compliance, customer relations, and special project work as requested. This individual will also ensure that all managed services are being provided in a proper and cost effective manner.

Experience Required: It is a priority that the successful candidate possesses 3-5 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity; Four year degree and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; Excellent people and leadership skills; Demonstrated experience in coaching, motivating, developing, and leading a team. Knowledge of human resource policies and practices, including development of staffing plans and job descriptions, employee relations, training, safety, benefit administration and succession planning.
