SUMMARY:
The Financial Reporting Coordinator is a part of the Finance Team at The Bridge. The duties will include preparing monthly financial statements, financial analyses, and other financial reports – both scheduled and ad hoc – as needed by management. Coordinate the collection of financial data and documentation required for monthly grant and donor reporting. Work closely with accounting, grants, and fund departments to ensure reporting needs are met.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Prepare monthly financial statements, financial analyses, and other financial reports – both scheduled and ad hoc – as needed by management.
- Coordinate the collection of financial data and documentation required for monthly grant and donor reporting.
- Work closely with accounting, grants, and fund departments to ensure reporting needs are met.
· Financial reporting to include:
o Generating monthly financial statements and budget variance analyses
§ Organization wide financial statements (budget vs. actual) and analysis
§ Departmental monthly expenses and expense analyses
§ Generate financial reports needed by Grants Manager for monthly reporting
§ Accounts / Pledges Receivable Aging
§ Accounts Payable aging
§ Expense Allocation Reports
§ Cash Forecasting
o Create reports for Board of Directors Administrative Committee and Board dissemination
o Monitoring grant expenditures, public and private
· Medicare / Medicaid Billing
o Receiving weekly reports from Clinical Counseling Clinician and submitting billings to Medicare / Medicaid
§ Submit billings to Medicare / Medicaid and Advantage Plan health care providers
§ Submitting applications to become network providers
§ Analyzing cost vs. revenue of Medicare/Medicaid to determine program viability
GENERAL QUALIFICATION:
· Experience with nonprofit accounting
· Experience with financial reporting
· Experience with grant reporting
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business
· Five years’ accounting and financial reporting experience
