Job Description

Office Coordinator - hybrid work arrangement


The Boston Consortium for Higher Education (TBC) is seeking a part-time Office Coordinator to work 25-30 hours a week. Under the general direction of the Executive Director, the Office Coordinator will undertake a variety of day-to-day management and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will be an organized and efficient professional with excellent communication skills who is comfortable collaborating with people and who can carry out administrative duties with accuracy and speed.

Responsibilities

· Take charge of a number of business and creative projects, including reports for TBC's Board of Directors

· Coordinate new and existing programs and initiatives as assigned by the Executive Director

· Assist the Executive Director and Director of Programs on tasks as required, including supporting numerous Communities of Practice

· Assist with bookkeeping

· Manage and support Executive Director's schedule, meetings, and calendars

· Assist with IT support including: creating PowerPoint presentations, managing mailing lists, coordinating Zoom meetings, and maintaining TBC's website

· Provide program and event assistance. Coordinate activities for conferences, including catering and providing general support to visitors

· Manage office services and ensuring office operations and procedures are organized

· Other duties as assigned


Requirements

· Associate's/College degree

· At least 2-3 years of office administrative experience

· Willingness to be in the office some days (right now, we operate with a flexible and hybrid working environment)

· Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational and planning skills

· IT skills: working knowledge of MS Office, QuickBooks, Survey Monkey, Mailchimp, WordPress, Zoom, Google Suite, Dropbox

· Working knowledge of accounting, data, and administrative management practices and procedures encouraged


Annual Salary

$50,000-$58,000
