Electrophysics Engineer/Scientist, BR&T/Electronics Technology - The successful candidate will work on a portfolio of proprietary and non-proprietary research and technology projects in El Segundo, California. In pursuit of Boeing's research interests, the successful candidate will work with others to develop, document, analyze, and test operational, functional, and environmental requirements of developed research systems. The candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide high impact, creative solutions to complex technical problems, the ability to work both independently and as part of a large team, and the ability to provide critical support and independent review of the work of teammates. Join us and put your passion, determination, and skill to work building the future! #TheFutureIsBuiltHere #ChangeTheWorld Position Responsibilities: Performs communication systems engineering and development of signal processing architectures Develop advanced signal processing algorithms for communication and sensing systems, including implementation and testing Develop and validate requirements for various communication, sensor, electronic warfare, and other electromagnetic systems and subsystems Support the development and validation of electromagnetic requirements for electrical\electronic systems and their components Lead project management efforts by preparing project objectives, schedules, deliverables, and providing status to leadership This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry 1+ years of experience working with digital signal processing (DSP) systems 1+ years of experience developing, documenting, and maintaining architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
