Residential Manager

Job Description

The Body Image Therapy Center is preparing to open up its first residential eating disorder treatment program in Frederick, Maryland, in the Fall of 2020. The Residential Manager will be responsible for human resource functions, practice management support, financial reporting support and other duties as assigned by and under the direction of the Executive Director/Operations Director. The Residential Manager will contribute to the success of the Residential Treatment Program through learning and mastering all business office functions, to include, but not limited to human resource management, financial data management and reporting, practice management and electronic health records administrator, Office365 administrator, training and development administrator, business office support.

Duties and responsibilities will include but be limited to:

Practice Management

· Work under the direction of the Executive Director/Operations Director

· First line of support for all practice related (e.g., non-clinical/revenue) financial issues such as credit card management, vendor billing issues, financial contracts.

· Act as first line of leadership for all business issues not related to revenue stream (e.g., billing and reimbursement)

· Day to day management of facility to ensure smooth business functioning

· Manage relationships with State, JHACO, Department of Labor and other regulatory boards

Human Resource Management

· Manage entire employee process from hire to separation

· Source, screen, interview, schedule interviews with prospective employees

· Maintain accurate employee records per State of Maryland and JHACO requirements

· Assist Operations Director with management of payroll process, to include initiate payroll, benefits, 401k, employee issues, PTO; initiate support needs with corporate when required

· Manage the employee feedback process to include 90-day reviews and annual reviews

· Manage and consult on the employee performance management process providing fair balance such that both employee rights and company needs are protected

· Manage vendor relationships for HR related functions, to include payroll, background checks, drug screens, reference checks

· Develop and maintain fair and consistent compensation and benefits programs

· Recommend personnel additions in appropriate functional areas as needed by the business and justified by the revenue of the business

· Manage annual review processes to develop staff

Licensing, regulatory, and accreditation

· Assist and maintain licenses as required to meet regulatory requirements

· Maintain paper and electronic files of business-critical licenses, accreditation, NPI, certifications, insurance

· Assure HIPAA compliance

Training and Development

· Manage training and on-boarding of new staff

· Manage training requirements, accountability, documentation on training platform

· Ensure managers are aware of training requirements and they adhere to timely completion of these assignments by self and assigned direct reports

IT Management and Administration

· Administrator for Office365, Training and Development, Practice Management, Electronic Health Records

· Coordinate with Operations Director to resolve any IT issues

Vendor management

· Manage relationships with all out-sourced functions (may include IT, human resources, accounting, payroll, housekeeping, landscaping/lawn maintenance, food service)

Miscellaneous

· Take on additional responsibilities as needed for the successful launch, management, and operations of RTC

Qualifications

· Undergraduate degree in Business or related field preferred but not required

· 2 years experience in a management/leadership role in healthcare setting
