We're looking for an experienced director of operations to support our high producing real estate agents and team. This is a high-level support role where you will support the lead agent, the team and manage all operations. You're highly resourceful, a self-starter and are able to take an idea and make it a reality using business knowledge and research. You are proactive - preparing for tomorrow, planning for three to six months out and communicating where you are with projects in a systemized way. You're a get-stuff-done type of person, you’ve been told you have large capacity to manage and complete projects. You are systems and process-oriented and you easily remove obstacles and inefficiencies. You need to have the ability to lead up and keep the team on track to hit their goals. You understand that you’re a leader in the business and that this role requires more than checking off tasks.

Team building and management skills are required. Experience with residential real estate is great but not required. Must have strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing, and oral communication skills. Cannot be tech-phobic- our lead generation and tracking systems are all online.

You will also help maintain relationships with the company’s clients, vendors, and team members, and perform other ad hoc projects as requested. This role has high visibility reporting directly to the owners. As such, you can expect to fulfill most of the following duties:

Long term strategic operational planning
Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures
Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of the team (marketing, sales,
Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
Participate in expansion activities
Manage relationships with partners/vendors

Essential Functions

Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, and business goals and objectives
Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external. Provide timely, accurate, and complete reports on the operating condition of the company
Spearhead the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization
Motivate and lead a high-performance management team; attract, recruit and retain required members of the executive team not currently in place; provide mentoring to develop the team
Act as lead “client-care officer” through direct contact with every client and partner
Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company
Represent the firm with clients, vendors, and business partners

Qualifications and Qualities We’re Looking For:

Ability to meet deadlines
Broad-based management exposure
Experience with fast-paced high-growth companies
Proven experience as COO or relevant role
Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing, etc.
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
Strong project management skills to coordinate with diverse teams and meet project deadlines
Outstanding command of the English language and impeccable writing and editing skills
Strong computer and Internet skills
Experience in managing teams, both freelance and employee
Be a strong team player
Willingness to accept change and adapt on the fly
Detail and result-oriented and strong follow-through is essential
Excellent communication and customer service skills
High-level strategic and analytical/problem-solving skills
Ability to synthesize information across a wide variety of disciplines
Strong general business knowledge base
