The Beam Team has served America’s most respected brands for three decades. We are growing FAST, hiring over 400 people around the country over the next few months. In this position you will play a key role in helping our new employees navigate the onboarding process, tracking HR docs, touching base with candidates, and making things happen!
You will report to the VP of HR, working closely with our recruiting team and our onboarding specialists. You will learn the process from start to finish, gain valuable insights into employment law, and build your HR resume! Because we are growing quickly, you'll have plenty of opportunities for growth and training within our organization.
You'll make sure new job requisitions are posted quickly, manage existing job posts and budgets, pull reports to see how we're doing, chase down information and HR docs for new employees, and generally facilitate the hiring process. You'll make things happen, you'll learn, and you'll have fun!
The right candidate will be detail oriented enough to notice the small stuff, interested in learning either HR or recruiting, and smart enough to build a functioning rocket out of duct tape and toothpicks.
- Strong writing skills (clear and brief).
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Strong computer skills--especially Excel and Word. Our processes are data driven so this will be your bread and butter!
- An organized self-starter. We need someone who will "own" the work and make things happen.
- Be reliable, and available 40 hours each week.
- Strongly preferred: Experience in recruiting or HR.
- Strongly preferred: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, job boards, and social media to reach potential applicants.
- Bachelor's degree or higher (preferred).

These protections extend to all management practices and decisions, including recruitment and hiring practices, performance reviews, promotions, training, and career development programs. We will continue to provide reasonable accommodations to employees and applicants with disabilities, and for religious observances and practices. And we will protect the right of employees and applicants to report incidents of illegal discrimination or harassment without fear of retaliation.
