Description:At Bama, the Multi-Skill Warehouse Associate is expected to understand and perform shipping and receiving tasks in a high volume distribution center environment, which services all Bama customers. Primary shipping and receiving tasks include receiving product/materials, storing product/materials, pulling orders and loading trucks while maintaining first in first out (FIFO) inventory. Upon initial certification, the expectation is for the team member to continue to learn and grow in role, while becoming an expert in areas of responsibility. Directly responsible for ensuring the quality and safe handling of Bama's customer products, while minimizing damage, meeting customer expectations, and ensuring a safe work environment. The Multi-Skill Warehouse Associate will be responsible for working in multiple positions, which could be at any Bama Facility.

Required Qualifications: •Understand warehouse guidelines for food safety and sanitation. •Computer skills in AS400, Microsoft Word, Power point, Excel and Email. •Experience with sit down and stand up forklift operation. •Experience with Inventory control process. •Demonstrated problem solving ability. •Must have proven safety record in past work history •High school diploma or GED preferred •Meet the physical requirements of the position •Valid food handler's card through Tulsa Health Department (Bama will pay)

Minimum Qualifications: •Must be able to complete the certification process in a minimum of 2 warehouse functions such as: Bulk receiving, Line Support (Line Driver and Freezer Input), Shipping/Receiving, Inventory clerk, & Shuttle Driver •Must participate in accident investigation and completion of follow-up reporting. •Understanding of the MER process •Understand and follows the COA process •Understand quality standards, follow those standards and knowing what to do and who to contact when some process is not functioning correctly. •Understand Manufacturing guidelines for food safety, food security and sanitation. •Must perform, and lead product quality checks and make necessary corrections. •Understand and utilize measurement systems and tools. •Must submit to all assessments and testing, including math/reading test and EQ assessment testing. Also display aptitude for positions based on aptitude testing and assessments. •Must display effective communication skills and listening skills.
