We are a local family business that has been operating in the islands for over 35 years.  CocoNene is one of three sister companies, along with Pictures Plus and Plus Interiors, all under The Art Source, Inc. umbrella. We manufacture home decor, artwork, and souvenirs locally in our factory and print shop just across town in Kapolei. Customers can visit us at any one of our retail locations on the island - in Ko'olina, Waikiki, Ala Moana Shopping Center, or Kahala Mall. Visiting Maui? We have a location in Lahaina as well! We just renovated our store and are looking to grow our CocoNene sales team, and are on the lookout for a full-time positive, driven, up-beat sales associate to be a brand ambassador to all things Aloha for our Ala Moana location. This means providing unmatched customer service, selling Hawaii-made decor and souvenirs straight from the local artists and designers we partner with, all while imparting our own unique Hawaii stories for clients. Pay average is about $16/h.  Full-time employees are eligible for benefits that include: medical insurance, 401k enrollment, paid time off and employee discount. Day-to-day responsibilities:

- Assist customers with shopping experience

- Daily store up-keep

- Stocking/shipment of goods in/out of store

- Cash handling, operating point of sale programs, preparing bank cash deposits

Here is what we are looking for in candidates:

- Experience in customer service and retail preferred

- Experience with handling cash and point of sales systems

- Speaks Japanese fluently
- Warm, friendly, positive attitude, excited to share the Coconene Way and products with customers

- Goal-oriented, driven to grow sales

- Reliable, disciplined, self-motivated, and takes the initiative

- Able to work independently

- Flexible, ability to adapt to daily responsibilities

- High school graduate or equivalent

- Flexible/open availability (store hours 10am-7pm)
