Member Service Senior Manager

Position Summary:

Aliera Healthcare is looking for a skilled Senior Manager who can lead our managers to better performance and improve service quality. The Call Center Senior Manager will assist in establishing call center objectives, provide Managers with opportunities to expand their knowledge of services, products, and troubleshooting techniques, analyze call center data, focus on improving performance, and processes to better support our members.

Essential Functions:

  • Providing guidance to direct reports, typically comprising first-line managers and supervisors
  • Ensuring clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional area
  • Approving hiring and firing requests
  • Guiding the talent identification and development processes for a group or function
  • Working across functions with peers in other groups to ensure collaboration for shared goals
  • Interacting with senior management for reporting
  • Working with senior management and other peers for strategy development and execution planning
  • Dealing with problems as and when they arise so as to ensure the organization is running smoothly and effectively

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • Previous customer service experience required
  • 3+ years of healthcare experience required
  • 10+ years of leadership experience required
  • Ability to learn and understand the product and the organization
  • Clear communicator (written and verbal)
  • Critical thinking skills and project management experience.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Must have basic to intermediate skills with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint {Assessments are required}

  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
