Thales DIS is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Manufacturing site in North Kingstown, RI. The Customer Service position is to support the order to invoice process for customers of the business line. The roles and responsibilities of this essential position ensure products are ordered for on time delivery while minimizing risk for the team, Business Line, and the Company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer orders from the purchase order receipt to delivery and invoicing.

  • Be responsible for the internal coordination and follow-up of customer requests and act as a point of contact for escalations.

  • Coordinate the order treatment with the Sales, Technical Consultant, Sales Operation and Order Management teams.

  • Responsible for the internal coordination and follow-up of customer requests and claims.

  • Oversee customer supply inventories to ensure ample levels for daily production requirements.

  • Attend customer meetings and assist customers at Gemalto facilities.

  • Be responsible for record management.

Minimum Skills and Requirements:

  • To succeed at this job, you must have: experience with ERP, Microsoft Office, project coordination and basic knowledge in contract management, planning, sales and logistics.

  • It would be preferred if you have experience with CRM, ERP, banking services and smart cards.

  • Fluent in English (both oral and written)

  • We would like someone to join our team who is customer-oriented, pro-active, organized, autonomous, a team-player with excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to work well under pressure.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.

  • Someone with 1 - 3 years of experience in customer service, project coordination, or a related role.

Preferred Skills:

  • Systems; Oracle or SAP experience preferred

  • Education; BA preferred or equivalent work experience

  • Language; Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus
