Creates visual concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that will be used in the training process. Develop the overall layout and production design for training programs for Texas Roadhouse and all concepts. This includes understanding the concepts, the design, and production of graphic related material for all training that occurs. Essential functions include the following:
Work directly with the Director of Instructional Design, Training Video Manager/Graphic Designer, Instructional Design team, and subject matter experts to meet training needs
Design training tools for print, presentations, or on screen viewing that convey the message, are easy to understand, fun, engaging, and coincide with company culture for Texas Roadhouse and all concepts
Establish timelines, concept, and creative direction for assigned projects
Copyedit, review proofs, and work with the training team and vendors to ensure 100% accuracy and quality of all produced materials
Assist in photo shoots, videography, editing sessions and other creative related production activities
Maintain, update, and improve existing designs
Create designs for special projects as needed
Participate in content development with creative input
Establish an understanding of restaurant needs, build and maintain relationships with operators to provide stellar service and departmental support with every contact or specific project as needed including design, messaging, and overall branding of training material
In accordance with established company and department approved systems, maintain a regimen of saving documents, backing up files and hard drives as well as keeping a tight and accurate filing system of all electronic documents for safe storage and quick, easy retrieval

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Certificate in Computer/Graphic Design
Experience: Three to seven years related experience, restaurant experience a plus, agency or in-house creative department experience preferred
Computer Skills: In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail
