Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our growing team. Reporting to the Sr. Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Mechanic will maintain and oversee the company's buildings, systems, and equipment to ensure that the workspace and operations are safe, highly functional, and efficient.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination of renovations and updates
  • Inspect facilities and meet all safety regulations
  • Develop the scope of both self-performing expectations and managing the execution of service contracts with service providers
  • Constantly observe surroundings and identify the aspects of the company's facilities that need attention
  • Listen to the needs of a building's occupants and report requests and suggestions to the supervisor

Requirements

  • 3-5 related years of experience in a building maintenance role
  • Experience in HVAC, BMS, plumbing, general repair, or professional/industrial manufacturing environments is required
  • Technical degree and certifications and training commensurate with the duties described
  • OSHA, Environmental and forklift operational cert a plus
  • Mechanical skills and strong knowledge of electrical/mechanical building systems for operational performance areas described previously
  • Proficiency with facilities management tools (i.e., CMMS or equivalent)
  • Experience using project management tools, MS office tools including Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak at all levels to team members, guests, and vendors
  • Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization abilities
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize
  • Keen attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills

Salary Range

$25-35 / hour

Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Physical Demands

An employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. In performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to sit or stand for long durations of time, in addition to bending, reaching, and walking. This would require the ability to lift or move objects up to 45 pounds. This position is generally sedentary, with substantial computer usage.

Work Environment

The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
