Grounded in the Tibetan Buddhist lineage of our guiding teacher, Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, our online and in-person programs are accessible to people of all cultures and faiths, and support a lifelong path toward the application of these principles in everyday life.
Tergar International is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that develops and delivers Tergar programs, in partnership with our sister organization Tergar Asia. Tergar International is based in the United States of America in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis / St. Paul, Minnesota, with a staff of nearly 40 employees and core contractors who work in various locations around the world.
Job Overview
Tergar seeks an experienced and creative, metrics-oriented Content Marketing Manager to join the Tergar International team. As a Content Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy in order to increase our online presence, build effective brand awareness, and improve our marketing efforts. You will work closely with the Digital Marketing and Performance Manager, and your work will be supported and supervised by the Tergar Marketing and Communication Manager.
Organizational Structure
The Tergar Content Marketing Manager will function as a member of the Tergar Marketing and Communication Team and will support a variety of cross-team projects within the organization. The Content Marketing Manager will report to the Tergar Marketing and Communication Manager.
Responsibilities for Content Marketing Manager
- Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency
- Facilitate brand and company awareness through various social media channels
- Design content marketing strategies and set short-term goals
- Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between students and the company, and ensure a positive student service experience
- Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube
- Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others
- Implement, track, and achieve the Social Media industry’s KPIs
- Create content and Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content
- Prepare media kits
- Manage media inquiries and interview requests
- Coordinate all public relations activities
Qualifications
- BS degree in Marketing or a relevant field
- At least 4 years of experience as a Content Marketing Manager using social media for brand awareness and impressions
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, and other social media best practices
- Proficiency in MS Office and WordPress or other Content Management Software
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Experience conducting and analyzing audience and buyer persona research
- Demonstrated ability to leverage metrics to achieve Social Media KPI targets
- Familiarity with web design and publishing
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Team player who enjoys collaborating with others
- Excellent time-management skills
- Project management skills and attention to detail
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent writing skills in English
- Basic graphic design skills
- Knowledge of Tergar content and teachings
Job Classification
The Tergar Content Marketing Manager is a creative-exempt, full-time position (40 hours per week). This position is open to international candidates. The annual wage will be commensurate with experience and skills.
