What you will do:
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Coordinator who can help provide our portfolio of companies with the technology that allows them to be competitive and agile in meeting current and future business challenges. Reporting to the CFO, the IT Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing all outside technology vendors and support future upgrades, improvements, transformations, digitization type projects as well as be responsible for onboarding new business acquisitions onto the Tendit technology platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage outsourced IT vendors including coordinating and overseeing the outsourced IT help desk.
  • Run multiple systems implementations and successfully manage these projects to completion.
  • Assist with the onboarding of acquired companies to the Tendit email system, GL system, and field service management systems.
  • Maintain appropriate project documentation as well as manage competing demands across a portfolio of projects.
  • Recommend, develop, and measure key performance indicators (KPI) as needed to monitor performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Utilize expertise and leadership to direct staff and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met.
  • Develop, maintain, and update SOPs, processes, and procedures.
  • Facilitate vendor evaluations and when appropriate, identify new vendor partners.
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor, track progress, and deliver technology solutions.
  • Develop project resource requirements and works with appropriate organizational units to acquire resources.
  • Measure and track performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks, identify issues and resolve them appropriately.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust as needed based on financial analysis.
  • Manage relationships with project stakeholders, business partners, and vendors. Work to create proper project team engagement and motivation.
  • Interface with third-party consultants and subject matter experts at all levels to determine possible areas of exposure and appropriate solutions to potential problems.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with people at all levels of the corporation in a clear and concise manner.

What you’ll need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in an IT Coordination capacity
  • Tech-savvy and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple calendars
  • Problem-solving aptitude with strong critical-thinking skills as well as a good deal of “grit”
  • Strong familiarity with project management tools, various methodologies, and best practices
  • Demonstrates strong organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, large, and complex projects effectively
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and experience
