Regional Sales Manager
Reporting to the General Manager and Global Director of Sales of world leader in electro-magnetic braking systems for the automotive industry.
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for increasing revenue through targeted sales and customer relationship efforts. Candidate must establish and maintain direct relationships and promote company automotive braking solutions to new customers in a wide array of market sectors, as well as nurture existing accounts. Responsible for professionally representing the company always, contacting clients on a very regular basis to maintain existing business and offer company services for new business, and closing new business that services the customer’s needs and meets profitability and company quality standards.
Manage large sales territory and marketing events such as trade shows
Tenacity in a long sales cycle environment across the US and Canada
Determine long- and short-term sales goals with on time reporting
Prior experience in an automotive environment and a true interest for mechanics are desirable
Develop prospects, new business opportunities/markets, and relationships with industry professionals.
Maintains awareness of competitive landscape in the region
Manage and expand company dealer network, essential in tri-party sales approach between end users / prescribers and dealers / clients
Experience managing procurement tenders and request for quotation for municipalities - strongly preferred
Work closely with technical team to ensure customer satisfaction
Resolve customer grievances and service issues
Five + years of sales experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Ability and willingness to travel by plane and driving - domestic / international
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent analytical skills, comfort with math and creative problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask, true 360° approach end to end sales process from identifying new prospects, managing tenders through to contract signature and regular client visits between sales
Excellent customer service
Ability to communicate well in team environment
