Telecommunications Project Coordinator

In-office positions available immediately! This is NOT sales or telemarketing - Fixed Hourly - NO Commissions. Telcom is a 33-year old established firm. NO remote work.

You will be providing telecommunications project coordination to our very special clients! We manage and transform the telecommunications infrastructure for Senior Housing sites, like Assisted Living Facilities and Nursing Homes. We take care of the staff who take care of your grandma or grandpa! We never go on site, as ALL work is done right from our office in Boca Raton.

We review complex voice and data invoices for large clients over multiple locations throughout the U.S., analyzing the telecommunications expenses and researching available alternatives and/or billing errors. We then report our findings to the site, and work with them to implement our findings for cost savings. In addition, we assist clients in selecting and implementing new voice (PBX) equipment, including negotiations for new carrier contracts for both voice and data. Again, all the work is done from the office; we do not go to client locations.

Qualifications: NOTE: Lower pay range is available for candidates with NO telecom experience.

• Substantial technical and billing knowledge of all types of telephone lines (POTS, PRI, SIP), Digital and IP PBX equipment and configuration, VoIP, internet service, and IT equipment like cable modems, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Extensive computer knowledge of Word, Excel, internet, emailing, and instant messenger.
• Excellent communications skills, and a complete command of the English language, using proper grammar and punctuation.
• An obsession for the details and a thirst for telecommunications knowledge!

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, with half of an hour for unpaid lunch time. This is an in-office position - no remote work.
