Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a Software Engineer - Test (SDET) who will help us build next generation in-vehicle driver experiences for the drivers who use mobile delivery application for package delivery.
- Client's delivery app is the system that collaborates with crowd-sourced and third-party delivery partners to complete deliveries for many of programs.
- Our mobile applications work in concert with our advanced logistics systems and predictive analytics.
- These technologies allow delivery partners to onboard, schedule delivery times in advance or on demand, and be guided through their deliveries with in-app mapping, navigation, and much more.
- We are looking for an individual with a passion for making development teams more efficient and productive.
- An individual that has the wisdom and know how to create test infrastructure and automation to support a truly world-class product development team.
- Our SDET's are able to understand product requirements and multi tier system architectures to build automated tooling that both validates product functionality and also streamlines testing process to release software quickly while meeting a high quality bar.
- Our SDET's create scalable and maintainable frameworks that meet the needs of their Dev and Quality partners that are both efficient and reliable.
- The ideal candidate will have experience building test infrastructure that validates multi tier mobile applications working with groups such as Product Management, Quality, and Development to understand customer usage models and technical implementation, all while developing test automation that approximates real-world environments and supports regression testing.
- In addition candidate should be aware of, or will have experience with different testing methodologies like UI testing, API testing, device performance and stability testing etc.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain an automated test infrastructure for a multi-platform product that will be used to validate all aspects of the product operation.
- Evaluate product functionality and create test automation strategies and test coverage to assess product quality.
- Integrate with SCM infrastructure to establish a continuous build and test cycle.
- Establish processes and tools set to maintain automation scripts and generate regular test reports.
- Lead the automation of large-scale systems, create technical design documentation and drive continuous improvements to the quality assurance processes
- Communicate with engineering teams, partnering technical teams to gather requirements, and with management to provide regular detailed status reports on project progress
- Estimate and communicate project timelines
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of experience working as a Software Development Engineer
- 2+ years experience in a test or development lead role as part of a product development organization which has delivered consumer oriented products
- Experience in writing automated scripts that test back end services and frontend mobile applications for functionality, performance, and stability
- Knowledge of QA methodology and tools
- Experience with Java/Perl/Python/JavaScript/Swift/Kotlin scripting or any modern object oriented programming language

- Experience in writing automated scripts that test back end services and frontend mobile applications for functionality, performance, and stability
- Knowledge of QA methodology and tools
- Experience with Java/Perl/Python/JavaScript/Swift/Kotlin scripting or any modern object oriented programming language Preferred:
- Automotive software testing experience
Degree or Certification:
- Bachelor's computer science or equivalent
