They operate through two segments: Electronic Instruments and Electromechanical. The Electronic Instruments segment designs and manufactures analytical, test, and measurement instrumentation for the energy, aerospace, power, research, medical, and industrial markets. The Electromechanical segment provides automation and precision motion control solutions, as well as electrical interconnects, specialty metals, and thermal management systems.

Job Description
Job Summary:
  • The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities.
  • As the first line of communication with prospects, an ideal SDR has a strong understanding of the sales process, excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success.
  • Responsible for leads generation - the initial part of the sales process
  • Cold call prospects and educate the market about SkyBitz
  • Generate sales opportunities with net-new customers for your partners on the sales team to close and manage on a go-forward basis
  • Use lead generation tools to routinely extract contacts and create targeted lists for campaigns
  • Generate interest in SkyBitz through a high volume of activity via phone, email, and social media
  • Research target accounts and build intelligence on company service offerings, organizational mapping, and recent events to support introductory conversations
  • Qualify leads generated by marketing campaigns, from trade shows, web interest, and call-ins.
  • Provide ongoing market intelligence to the sales management team based on feedback received from customers and prospects
  • Maintain updated information for individually assigned accounts in SFDC. Responsibilities include but are not limited to contacts, opportunities, account information, logged activities, tasks, events, and updated customer information
  • Meet individual quota on an ongoing basis as assigned by the Sales Manager
Required Skills, Abilities & Knowledge:
  • Minimum of High School Diploma and/or equivalent job experience
  • Minimum one to three years experience in an SDR role in the tech space
  • Ability to communicate extremely well both orally and in writing to deliver key value propositions to customers and secure sales
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and IE) & CRM applications is required
  • Collaborative mentality and prioritizes the team's success over self
  • Proven ability to make strong connections and overcome rejection to achieve results
  • Desire to move up the ranks into Sales
Preferred Skills, Abilities & Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
  • Fleet: Asset tracking, Telematics, or IoT experience is strongly preferred.
  • Tank: Logistics experience is preferred, and is strongly preferred if related to Petroleum and/or Chemical Distribution
